During this past year I have been making a small diary of dance study. My plan was to work out paintings and have something to remind myself of the year. I plan to display my diary at the artist reception the evening of April 19th.

Dance: A Painter’s Perspective
This book has been a year in the making: a pictorial diary from April 2012 to April 2013. In it I have documented paintings I contemplated, planned, changed, abandoned and finished.
It has been a tremendous honor to watch and document the lives of these dancers during the past year. Every performance found me as proud of them as any parent.
This project marks a year of personal changes, challenges and growth for me. I am grateful for it’s existence in many ways.
