This afternoon I hung my first solo exhibit at the Acoustic Cafe’ in Winona, MN. Friend and fellow artist Carol Slade was a huge help hanging everything. 37 pieces! Thank you Carol, I couldn’t have done it without you and your tool box. And thank you Kathy for asking if I would be interested in exhibiting.
I’m thrilled about having a reception on Sunday, April 17th from 2-4pm and also sketching live at the Acoustic on April 29th for Fringe Friday 4:30-6:30 pm. Catherine and Gary generously lent my painting from their collection for the event. I am surrounded by wonderful friends and family. I love you all!
This painting is of Lua rock hunting last summer at Madeline Island. The red “moss” on the shoreline was amazing and Lua and Charlie were constantly hunting “beauties” on the shore and in the water. Of course, so was I.
Yay, I am so excited for you! Can't wait to see your show 🙂
Acoustic Cafe will be very beautiful this April! Love your paintings.
Chris
